Drovers Finish 11th at SAC Championship

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – Saturday morning, the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma women's and men's cross-country competed at the Sooner Athletic Conference Championship at Eldon Lyon Park in OKC.

 

The Drover men finished in 11th place as a team in the 8-kilometer race, led by Aarin Simon in 63rd with a time of 32:00.47. Hunter DeWall finished in 81st with a time of 38:02.31. 

Tyrike Cunningham, Quintin Pennells, and Colby Keller finished back-to-back-to-back, placing in 83rd, 84th, and 85th respectively. Cunningham crossed with a time of 38:27.22, trailed by Pennells in 42:00.53, and Keller at 46:49.25.

 

WHAT'S NEXT?

The Drovers now head into the offseason, but many of the runners will return to action shortly for the track and field season.
