Drovers Keep it Close But Go Down in Three at Texas Wesleyan
FORT WORTH, Texas – Saturday afternoon, the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (9-13, 5-8 SAC) was dealt a three-set loss on the road at Texas Wesleyan University (14-7, 10-3 SAC).
The teams traded points early in the first set and USAO held a slim 13-10 advantage midway through the frame. However, the Rams closed the set strong and earned a 25-20 win to take a 1-0 lead in the match.
Texas Wesleyan jumped out to an early lead in the second set and cruised to a 25-16 win to take a two-set lead. The Drovers fought hard in the third set, but the Rams wrapped up the match with a 25-21 win.
