Drovers Compete Against Loaded Field at The Hrncair Invitational

DUNCAN, Okla. - Monday and Tuesday, the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma men's golf team competed at The Hrncair Invitational, hosted by Cameron University and the Drovers finished in 11th place. The Drovers were the only NAIA squad to compete in the tournament, with the rest of the competition coming from NCAA DII and NJCAA.

 

The course at The Territory Golf Club and was a challenging 7110-yard, par 72 layout. The Drovers completed with a three-round score of 917 (303, 292, 322).

 

Conner Cryer led the way for USAO, from an individual standpoint, concluding with a three-round score of 221 (77, 72, 72) to finish in 18th. Luca Gisler concluded in 42nd with a total of 229 76, 73, 80), followed by Jax Brewer in 51st with a score of 231 (81, 74, 76). Tate Trotter closed in 62nd as he carded a 234 (81, 77, 76). Jaeden Ellis followed closely behind in 66th with a total of 236 (88, 69, 79). Luke O'Dell closed in 68th, followed by Caleb Smith in 70th and Cooper Hardison in 72nd

 

WHAT'S NEXT?

The Drovers will wrap up the fall portion of the season at the Tabor Fall Invitational on October 23-24. The tournament will be competed at Sand Creek Station Golf Course in Newton, Kan.
