Drovers Conclude the Fall Season with Third Place Finish at the Hrnciar

DUNCAN, Okla. – On Monday and Tuesday, the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma men's golf closed out the fall portion of their season with an impressive third place finish at the Hrnciar, hosted by Cameron University. 

 

The course at The Territory Golf Club and was a challenging 7110-yard, par 72 layout. The Drovers completed with a three-round score of 896 (298, 291, 307). The tournament featured a tough field of NCAA DII opponents, including a pair of teams ranked in the DII Top 25 rankings (#13 Midwestern State, #25 UT Tyler).

 

 Jaeden Ellis and Cooper Hardison led the way for the Drovers, placing in a tie for 14th with a total of 225. Ellis fired scores of 74 and 73 on Monday, followed by a 78 in the final round on Tuesday. Hardison shot scores of 77 and 73 on day one, followed by a 75 on day two.

Luca Gisler trailed closely behind in 21st with a total of 226 (72, 73, 81). Tate Trotter closed in 26th as he carded a 228 (73, 77, 78). Conner Cryer finished in 29th as he scored a 229 (83, 72, 74), followed by Parker Pogue in 38th with a 231 (75, 76, 80). Tucker McDonald concluded in 49th with a 236 (81, 75, 80), and Luke O'Dell closed in 52nd with a 237 (77, 81, 79).

 

WHAT'S NEXT?

The Drovers will head into their winter break and resume competition in the spring.
