Lainey Morrow Earns All-American Nod After a Stellar Sophomore Campaign
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Tuesday morning, the NAIA announced the Women's Basketball All-American teams and Lainey Morrow earned a recognition as an honorable mention selection.
In her sophomore season, Morrow earned her first All-American selection, as well as her first All-SAC selection. The Bridge Creek native concluded the regular season as the most efficient offensive player in the conference, averaging 14.4 points per game, shooting 55.7 percent from the field, 40.9 percent three-point range, and 85.0 percent from the free-throw line. Morrow had the best field goal percentage in the SAC and the fourth best free-throw percentage.
Additionally, Morrow averaged 6.5 rebounds per game, as well as 1.3 steals per game.
Last season, Morrow earned a selection to the SAC All-Freshman Team.
