Drovers Finish Strong at the Texas Intercollegiate

WESTWORTH VILLAGE, Texas – On Monday and Tuesday, the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma women's golf team fifth-place finish at the Texas Intercollegiate, hosted by Texas Wesleyan University.

 

The tournament was competed at Hawks Creek Golf Course in Westworth Village, Texas, and the Drovers completed with a three-round score of 971 (326, 328, 317). The course featured a 6,515-yard, par 72 layout. 

 

Moriah Shropshire led the Drovers with a 21st place finish, firing a three-round total of 238 (85, 80, 73).

Shropshire was closely followed by Hudson Woloss in 23rd and Addesen Glass in 24th. Woloss fired a 239 (80, 81, 78), and Glass shot a 242 (83, 77, 82).

Alix Schueneman and Emma Fields each placed in the top 30. Schueneman fired a 246 (80, 83, 83) and Fields shot a 251 (81, 84, 86).

Addysyn Asmus concluded in 32nd (255 – 87, 85, 83) and Kiera Stehr placed in 42nd (290 – 102, 91, 97).

 

WHAT'S NEXT?

The Drovers will return to the course on September 23-24 as they compete at the Invite at Innisbrook. The tournament will be hosted at Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club in Palm Harbor, Florida.
