Woloss and Shropshire Shine as USAO Finished 4th at the Virginia McCoy Invitational in Kansas City
KANSAS CITY, Okla. – On Monday and Tuesday, the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma women's golf team earned a fourth-place finish at the Virginia McCoy Invitational. Additionally, Hudson Woloss finished in a tie for third place as an individual, and Moriah Shropshire fired a program-record as she carded a 71 in the final round of the tournament.
The tournament was competed at The National Golf Club/The Bluffs in Kansas City, Mo., and the Drovers completed with a two-round score of 661 (345, 316). The course featured a 6,259-yard, par 70 layout.
Hudson Woloss was very consistent as she recorded a 77 in the first round, followed by a 78 in the final round to finish in a tie for third. Moriah Shropshire tallied a two-round score of 162 (91, 71) for a 10th place finish.
Emma Fields placed in 22nd with a 170 (89, 81), followed by Addysyn Asmus in 27th with a 174 (88, 86). Emilee Slovak concluded in 38th with a 192 (99, 93). Kiera Stehr finished in 47th with a 209 (112, 97), and Addesen Glass closed in 51stwith a 94 in the first round.

The Drovers will return to the course on October 14-15 as they host the annual Battle at Winter Creek at Winter Creek Golf and Social Club in Blanchard, Okla.
