
Drovers Earn Several Top 10 Results at the JD Martin Invitational
NORMAN, Okla. – On Friday, the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma delivered some tremendous performances at the JD Martin Invitational, hosted by the University of Oklahoma.
On the women's side, Tanyaradswa Mutara earned an 8th place finish in the long jump, with a leap of 4.19 meters, as well as a 17th place finish in the 60-meter dash with a finishing time of 9.18.
Kyli Reser led the women's shot-put team with a 9th place finish, with a throw of 9.72 meters. Alayna Nichols placed in 12th with a toss of 8.90 meters, and Luisa Talavera concluded in 13th with a throw of 8.52 meters.
The men's team was highlighted by Andries Meyer, who earned a second-place finish in the men's one mile run, with a finishing time of 4:41.90.
Crispin Mbii earned a pair of seventh-place results in the 60-meter dash and the 200-meter dash. Mbii crossed the finish line in 7.11 seconds for the 60-meter race, followed by a time of 23.52 in the 200.
Daylen Huff earned an 11th place finish in the 200-meter race with a time of 23.64, as well as a 26th place finish in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.43.
Colby Keller finished in 27th in the 200-meter (25.18), followed by a 33rd place result in the 60-meter (7.53).
Hunter DeWall concluded in 21st in the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.47.
